Wilma Anderson

Wilma Kaye Bartley Anderson, age 69, of Bowling Green, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

Born in Cave City, Kentucky on March 6, 1954 to parents, Buford Simpson Bartley and Lavora Catherine Brooks Oller, formerly of Cave City. She was of the Baptist faith, a 1972 graduate of Caverna High School. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She loved movies, shopping, and trying new restaurants. She was a loving mother, grandmother and loved spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Buford Jr. and Dorothy Mae (both passed at birth); brothers Kenneth Bartley, Bill Bartley, and Murel Bartley; sisters Mary Ferguson, Betty Johnson, Anna lamb, Sue Gassaway, and Lou Horton.

She is survived by two daughters, Valerie L. Wilson (Mike) and Ria K. Anderson; grandsons, Trenton Passmore and Logan Anderson; granddaughter, Sloane Wilson, one great-granddaughter, Kyndle Passmore and one great-grandson, Ronan Passmore; two sisters, Rana Miller of Tennessee and Emily Cornell of Indiana; one brother, Wendell Oller, of Indiana; her former husband, Vernon Anderson and  many, many special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Winn Funeral Home and after 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday.
