William Argel "Bill" Veach

William Argel "Bill" Veach, age 91 of Fountain Run, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023 at his residence.

The Barren Co. native was of the Baptist faith and served his country in the United States Army. He worked for G..E. and then spent the next 65 years serving Hart Co. has a barber. He enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, and playing checkers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvie and Virgie Kirby Veach; one brother, Mitchell Veach; two sisters, Ruby Vincent and Leatrice Gibson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Elaine Veach; one special, adopted daughter, Lela Penwell (Terry); and a host of many friends, including Greg Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow at Fountain Run Cemetery in Fountain Run, Ky. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Winn Funeral Home from 3:00 - 6:00 P.M. and again on Wednesday from 8:00 A.M. until  time of service at 11:00 A.M.
