William Jerry Pendergrass

William Jerry Pendergrass, age 78, of Horse Cave, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014, at his home.  He was a native of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, a retired cabinet maker, a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church at Uno, and a United States Navy Veteran.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Oscar Pendergrass and Robbie Lee Clemmons Pendergrass, his wife, Patricia Faye Pendergrass and two grandchildren.

He is survivied by his companion, Ruth Smith, of Horse Cave, three daughters, Diane Hermey of LaVergne, TN,  Debbie Williamson of Oklahoma, and Linda Grissom of Horse Cave, four sons, Delton Gortney, Jr., Bell Buckle, TN, William Anthony Pendergrass, Morrison, TN, James Lee Pendergrass, Woodbury, TN, Robert Lee Smith, Lawton, OK, 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, three brothers, Wesley Pendergrass, Knoxville, TN, Jimmy Pendergrass, Tullahoma, TN, and Anthony "Tony" Pendergrass, Piedmont, MO, and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at Winn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from Noon to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, and 9 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday.
