Wanda Faye Nichols, age 65, of Horse Cave, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016 at Hospice House of Bowling Green. She was a native of Hart County and a member of Echo Mission Church. She loved to play the guitar, sing and write gospel songs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Nellie Mae Carter Sturgeon. One brother, Donnie Sturgeon; two Sisters, Patsy Pennington and Brenda Sturgeon.
Survived by three children, Sherry Horton (Robert), Jason Nichols (Brian Sharp), Jennifer Dearing (Scott); three grandchildren, Savannah Wilson (Jordan); Dylan Ward and Tyler Horton; one great-granddaughter, Avery Belle Wilson; four grand fur babies, Jayden, Sadie, Zoey and Pumba; two sisters, Jean Jewell and Joyce Skaggs; two brothers, Larry Sturgeon and Gary Sturgeon. Several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Echo Mission Church, under the direction of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Center Point Cemetery.
Visitation in the Chapel Winn Funeral Home From 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2016 and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Echo Mission Church.
Expression of Sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to American Cancer Society or Hospice of Southern Ky.
