Virginia Carleen Doyle

Virginia Carleen Doyle, age 89, of Horse Cave passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at her home with her immediate family present. She was born in Edmonson County, Kentucky. Her life was totally devoted to her family as a wife, momma & granny. She was a member of the Horse Cave Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde & Ida Laslie Davis, her husband, L.G. (Glenual) Doyle, 2 sisters, Elvena Salmon & Louisa Davis and by 1 brother, Ernest Davis.

Survived by

She is survived by 3 children, Patsy (Bobby) Sturgeon, Cave City, Helen (Donnie) Edwards & Sammy (Rita) Doyle both of Horse Cave. 7 grandchildren, Robin Sturgeon Stacey, Jennifer Sturgeon Munar, Grant Sturgeon, Kathy Edwards Burchett, Jeff Edwards, Katie Edwards Banks, Sammi Jo Doyle Eubank. 15 great-grandchildren,Robert & Garrett Stacey, Evan & Mason Munar, Stanton Burchett, Cammille & Payton Edwards, Lizz Thomas, Kera, Brackston, Jaxson, Braylon, & Kaydon Banks, Issac & Glynnlee Eubank. She is also survived by 1 sister, Edith Davis of Horse Cave.

Visitation

Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 2 until 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. until funeral time on Thursday.

Funeral Service

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2012 in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
