Virginia Thompson

Virginia Thompson age, 86 of Horse Cave, passed away Friday, November 10, 2023 at T.J. Samson Hospital.

She was a native of Alabama and a long-time resident of Kentucky. She was a member of Clear Point Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lee Thompson; her parents, Raymond and Vera Caver; two brothers, Raymond H. Caver Jr., and Donald H. Caver Sr. (Joyce); three sisters, Barbara Shewmake, Shelby Jean Caver, and Valerie Wynell Caver.

She is survived by her two sons, Rance "Bo" Thompson (Jennifer) and Timothy "Bedlow" Thompson (Vicki); 6 grandchildren, Rance Thompson, Connor Thompson, Coleman Thompson, Jeremiah Thompson, Samara Belle, and Bryan Rouster; and 5 great-children; two brothers, Barney Caver (Lorene), and Robert Caver (Linda); three sisters, Chickie Workman, Golda Reed (Bob), and Sue Caver.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and from 8:00 A.M. until time of service on Wednesday.
