Turner Pedigo, 83, of Horse Cave, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016 at his home.
He was a Barren County native, a member of Salem Baptist Church, a home builder, and formerly owned Pedigo Decorating, a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War from 1951- 1954, an avid golfer and sport fan, coached Babe Ruth League Baseball and was a former member of the Bear Wallow Masonic Lodge # 231.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Lucy Bradley Pedigo; three brothers, Leslie, Joe, and Tommy Pedigo; and one sister, Katherine Craine.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Irene Pedigo; his children, Rickey Pedigo (Jane), of Horse Cave, Peggy Botts, of Cave City, Monica Neely and husband, J.T., of Horse Cave, Tina Bailey, of Cave City; grandchildren, Brandy Bailey, Sherri Botts, Racheal Bell, Adam Neely, Mike Neely, Ryan Neely, Trevor Neely, Allison Bailey; great-grandchildren, Kaden Bailey, Ethan Jackson, Keira Bailey, Hayden Jackson, Peyton Jackson and Greyson Jackson; his sister, Rebecca McGinnis and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm, Saturday, September 10, 2016, at the Cave City Baptist Church under the direction of Winn Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery with full Military Honors by the D.A.V. Chapter # 20, of Glasgow.
Visitation will be from 2-8pm, Friday, September 9, 2016, in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home and after 10am-1pm, Saturday, at the Cave City Baptist Church.
