Steve A. Jolly

Steve A. (JOLLY BEAR) Jolly , age 57 of Cave City passed away Wednesday May 1, 2013 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital Emergency Room. Steve was a Barren County native, and had retired after 20 years with the Barren-Metcalfe E.M.S. He was currently a Barren County Constable in the 6th. District, a former Barren County Dep. Sheriff, former Fire Chief of the Cave City Volunteer Fire Department, a past employee of the Cave City Water and Sewer Department. , a very active Community Volunteer, active with the Caverna Band and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Willis Jolly, Sr. and Virginia Joiner Jolly.

He is survived by his wife, Reva Dennison Jolly of Cave City, his daughter, Amy Marie Jolly of Glasgow and his grandson, Jacob Allen Jolly of Glasgow. 2 brothers, Ernest Willis Jolly, Jr. & his wife Mary of Cave City and Robert Paul Jolly also of Cave City. 2 nephews, Joey Jolly of Cave City and Chad Jolly and wife Julie of Cave City , 1 niece, Tiffany Jolly of Smiths Grove. Also a Host of Family and Friends.

Visitation

Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time on Sunday at the Church.

Funeral Service

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday May 5, 2013 at the Basil Chapel United Baptist Church under direction of Winn Funeral Home , Horse Cave, with burial to follow in the Cave City Cemetery.
