Sherry B. Waddell, age 67, Horse Cave, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Hart County, former owner/operator of Log Cabin Oil & Rickey Waddell Trucking, currently employed by the Hart County Public Library, retired from the Central Office of the Hart County Board of Education, and member of the Munfordville First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, L. D. & Davie Smith Branstetter, and her husband, Rickey D. Waddell in June of 2014.
She is survived by her son, Ken Waddell and wife, Julie, Bowling Green; daughter, Beth Huff and husband, Joel, Horse Cave; four grandchlidren, Colt and Jake Jackson, and Brinley and Bryson Huff; three sisters, Sue Jewell and husband, Larry, and Gada Denton, all of Horse Cave, and Shelly Willis and husband, Gary, of Brentwood, TN; mother-in-law, Grace Waddell, Glasgow; sister-in-law, Gayle South and husband, Joe, of Horse Cave, and several nieces, nephews & cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Munfordville First United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 2-9 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, at the Munfordville First United Methodist Church.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery Fund or the Munfordville First United Methodist Church Building Fund.
