Sherry Thomas Thompson

Sherry Thomas Thompson, 60 of Horse Cave, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 at 4:41 p.m. EST at her daughters residence in Campbellsville. She was a Hart county native, and a homemaker. She lived for her children. She was a loving grandmother, great-grandmother, and a good friend to many. She loved the outdoors.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Thomas; and the father of her children, Gary Thompson; her parents, Theodore “Ted” Nichols and Peggy Hawkins Nichols; one grandchild, Dakota Powell; two sisters, Linda West and Marilyn Conners; one brother, Steve Nichols

She is survived by two daughters, Tracy Harris (Tony) of Campbellsville, Amanda Smith (Kris) of Campbellsville; five sons, Daniel Thompson (Aimee) of Horse Cave, Kevin Thompson (Michelle) of Campbellsville, Ted Thompson (Stephanie Nichols) of Bethlehem, KY, Jake and Joshua Thompson of Campbellsville; a special granddaughter Riley Paige Thompson of Franklin, a special friend, Wanda Thomas of Crofton, KY. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow at Harper Cemetery in Horse Cave.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. at Winn Funeral Home and again on Monday, May 22, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
