Ruth Huffman Jewell

Ruth Huffman Jewell, age 91 of Magnolia passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 at her home. She was a native of Monroe and a member of the Monroe Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who loved her family and her flowers.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Jewell; her parents, Dorsey Huffman and Annie Robertson Huffman; one daughter-in-law, JoAnn Jewell; one granddaughter-in-law, Susan Jewell and one grandson-in-law, Mike Stanton.

She is survived by 9 children, Mike Jewell (Flossie), Allen Jewell, Freddie Jewell (Becky), Mary Hodges (Bobby), Rebecca Sydnor (Elwood), Peggy Baptiste (Arch), Tammie Druen (Bill), Dean Jewell (Tonjela), Lois Kromer (John); 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and a host of friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2021 in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Whickerville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Winn Funeral Home and again on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
