Roy Ferrell

Roy Ferrell, age 82, of Hardyville, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Campbellsville, nursing and Rahab Center. He was a Deacon of First baptist Church of Opelika, AL and a member of Horse Cave Baptist Church. Church was where his heart was. He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing golf.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Ola Ferrell; one brother, Carroll Ferrell.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Ferrell; two daughters, Lisa Brown (Dr. Randall Brown), of Swainsboro, GA and Ronda Hickman (Robert), of Hardyville; five grandchildren, Corbitt Raike , of Center, David Kell, of Louisville, Dr. William Brown (Dr. Lauren Brown), of Birmingham, AL, Dr. Randall C. Brown, of Savannah, GA, and Mary Kate Brown, of Birmingham, AL; four great grandchildren, David Langdon (Robin), of Center, William Langdon, of Louisville, Charlotte and Lucy Brown; niece, Catherine Joyner; nephew, Clayton Ferrell.

To honor Roy's wishes, cremation was chosen. Winn Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
