Ron Bromley

Ron Bromley, age 72, of Hardyville, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015, at his home.  He was a native of Michigan, an avid woodworker, loved fishing and reading, and a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church at Uno.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl E. Bromley and Nellie Lucille Moore Bromley, a sister, Glenda Dole, and a nephew, Mark Gotberg.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Nancy Bromley, of Hardyville, two sons, Mike Bromley and wife, Kelly, Scotts Hill, Tennessee & Jerry Bromley and wife, Jenny, of Maybee, Michigan, ten grandchildren, Ryan, Travis, and Eric Bromley, Katie Dickson, Melissa Garner, Leah Bromley, Zach Johnson, Alex Johnson, Samantha Johnson and Isaac Bromley, two, almost three, great-grandchildren, Jada Bromley, Troy Bromley, and soon-to-be Natalie Bromley, sister, Carolyn Bromley Gotberg, Michigan, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Winn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Hardyville.  Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday and after 10 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday.

Dear Nancy, so sorry to hear that Ron has passed away this was a surprise. I just happened to look at obits in Monroe news online and saw this. We often talked about you and wondered how you were doing. Charlie is still holding on.  We don't have your address or I'd send you a card at least I know Charlie and Ron will meet up in heaven.

We are so sorry to learn of Ron's passing away on Sunday.  Our hearts and minds are filled with memories of your family while you lived in Michigan and attended Milan Baptist.  We pray the Lord will ease the pain in your hearts.  Thank God He has blessed us with memories. Dear Nancy! I am so sorry to hear the loss of your husband Ron. I will never forget his smiling face at Horse Cave Baptist Church and Remember you Playing the Piano an singing in the Choir. Just wanted to say you are in my daily Prayers that God will guide you and give you the Strength that you need through this trying time! Wonderful memories of Ron's smiling face at PVBC.  Ron always beamed with joy when Nancy sang or played the piano at church.  He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.  Love and prayers for Nancy and family.
