Rebecca Ann Pickett

Rebecca Ann Pickett, age  75, of Glasgow, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Barren County on August 11, 1939 to the late Joe Lane & Virginia Young.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Oscar Pickett, Sr, and her brother, David Yates.  She was a member of the Wisdom Faith Community Church and enjoyed reading the Bible and talking to people about the Bible.  She was a person who loved to be a "Granny" to everyone and also enjoyed sewing.

She is survived by four daughters, Phyllis Mosby and husband, Mike; Pam Davidson; Rhonda Sexton and husband, Damon; and Nancy Walton, all of Glasgow, three grandchildren, Chris Davidson and wife, Kristy, of Hadley; Megan Tangen and husband, Marvin, of Glasgow; and Lindsey Kidd and husband, Spencer, of Park City; eight great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Andrew, Lane, and Maelynn Davidson; Kellan & Kamden Kidd; and Haley & Briley Tangen; one sister, Mildred Nunn, of Horse Cave; one brother, Robert Lane and wife, Roberta, of Horse Cave, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2014, in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Cosby Cemetery.  Visitation from 1:30-9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 and 9 a.m. on Thursday until time of service.
