R. L. Kitchen, 78, of Hardyville, passed away Monday, May 19, 2014 at the Hart County Health Care Center in Horse Cave.
He was a native of Robertson County Tn., a longtime member, Deacon and songleader at Clear Point Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Uno, a tractor and farm machinery mechanic, a member of Gideons International and a U.S. Army verteran. He was also an avid U K fan and loved to fish and barbeque.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Kitchen and Rosie Mooneyhan Kitchen; one sister and one brother.
He is survived by his wife, Carmalita Richardson Kitchen, of Hardyville; his daughter, Carrie Davis and husband, Gary, of Horse Cave; three grandchildren, Wesley Wilson and wife, Mollie, Seth Wilson and wife, Hailey, Nick Davis and wife, Emily; four great-grandchildren, Annabelle, Tucker, Addison and Ruby.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 1PM at the Clear Point Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Uno under the direction of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2 - 8 PM in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home and after 10 AM Wednesday until service time at the church.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to Gideons International.
