Peggy Lee Burnett, age 55, of Cave City, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at The Medical Center of Bowling Green. She was a native of Barren County and a former employee of Dart Container, Member of Rowletts Baptist Church and loved gardening, crocheting and loved her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Minor, twin sons, Dale and Darl Burnett, two brothers and one nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2014, in the Winn Funeral Home chapel, with burial to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Park City. Visitation at Winn Funeral Home chapel from 10:00 a.m., Friday, until 9:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service on Saturday.
She is survived by her husband, Steve "Onion" Burnett, Cave City; one daughter, Stacy Burnett (Chad), Park City; one son, Jeffrey Burnett (Amanda), Cave City; two granddaughters, Alaysha "Boo" Burnett and Stacia "Mousie" Burnett, both of Park City; her mother, Frances Minor, Cave City; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Loron & Joeatta Sturgeon, Horse Cave; five brothers, one sister, and several nieces and nephews, cousins and in-laws.
