Paul Ishmel West

Paul Ishmel West age 66 of Horse Cave passed away November 27, 2011 at the Hospice Center of Bowling Green.

He was a Hart County native and a retired carpenter.

Mr. West was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Cova Cox West, wife, Linda Mae West, 2 sisters, Brenda Fisher and Yvonne Wiles, 2 brothers, Daryl and Dale West.

Survived by

daughter: Pauletta Hatcher and husband Adam of Bowling Green

2 granddaughters: Lindley Grace and Keeley Mae Hatcher

4 brothers: Walford West of Cub Run

Jack West of Cub Run

Phillip West of Bonnieville

Tam West of Horse Cave

several nieces and nephews


Visitation 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Funeral Service

Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial in the Cherry Springs Church Cemetery in Cub Run.

Paulette, Adam, Lindley Grace and Keeley Mae,

Please know all of you are in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time in your lives. Paulie was a devoted father and grandfather to you and he enjoyed and appreciated the love of all of you in return. In the end, Paulie was blessed to leave behind such a wonderful legacy in all of you. May God bless each of you.

I'm so sorry to hear of the death of Paulie. My sympathy to all the West family. Paulie always had a smile and a friendly chat anytime we met him. I wasn't aware that he was so ill. Please know that you will all be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
