Paul "Greasy" Grissom, 72, of Horse Cave, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 at his home.
He was a Hart County native, a 1961 graduate of Caverna High School, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a retired parts manager for Bale Oil Company, an avid fisherman, was great at horseshoes, loved his grandsons and was a member of the Horse Cave Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chestine and Laura Harper Grissom; a brother, Glen Allen Grissom and a sister, Rachel Grissom Green on Aug. 18, 2015.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Smith Grissom, of Horse Cave; his son, John Grissom and wife, Renee', of Cave City; grandsons, Jonathan Grissom and Logan Grissom, both of Cave City; his sister, Nancy Grissom Haycraft, of Munfordville; his niece, Kaye Lafferty, of Louisville; his nephew, David Lafferty and wife, Billie Jo, of Munfordville; a great-nephew, Masion Lafferty, of Munfordville and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2PM, Thursday, February 11, 2016, in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery with full Military Honors by the D.A.V. Chapter #20 of Glasgow.
Visitation at Winn Funeral Home will be on Wednesday from 10AM - 8PM and after 9AM until service time on Thursday.
