Paul Ira Bennett

Paul Ira Bennett age 61 of Cave City passed away Saturday March 15, 2014 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green . He was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan on April 9, 1952 . He had lived in Iowa and moved to Cave City to live with his sister Barbara Logsdon and her husband Bob after his health declined. He was retired from PPG Industries and was a United States Navy Veteran and was a member of the Iowa Army National Guard. Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Fay Rigsby Bennett on November 22, 2011 and his parents Morgan Bennett and Alma Schalam Bennett.

He is survived by two daughters, Lela Peters of South Falls, South Dakota and Sarah Kerns of Spencer ,Iowa, three sons, Kevin Bennett of Sanborn, Iowa, Richard Bennett of Hazel, Kentucky and Keith Bennett of Sanborn, Iowa. Thirteen grandchildren. One sister, Barbara Logsdon and her husband Bob of Cave City, one nephew, Bart Logsdon and his wife Debbie of Glasgow and by one niece, Jennifer Hay and her husband Paul of Horse Cave.

The funeral services will be private under direction of the Winn Funeral Home Horse Cave. Burial will follow in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, Dallas County Iowa beside his late wife Ina.
