Patricia Ann Poynter Atwell

Patricia Ann Poynter Atwell, age 74, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. She came to know the Lord as teenager. She was one of the last few remaining members of Park United Methodist Church. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, William H. (Buddy) Poynter Sr. and Nina Mae Fancher Poynter; three brothers, William H. (Cowboy) Poynter Jr. , Steve Poynter, and Richard Poynter.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Danny Atwell, of LeGrande; two daughters, Marcie Atwell (Joey Hawks), of Horse Cave and Danyel Morrison (Todd), of Hiseville; two granddaughters, Hanah Morrison and Emma Morrison; one step-granddaughter, Tiffany Hawks; two sisters, Brenda McReynolds, of Rockfield and Tammy Poynter, of Savoyard; one sister-in-law, Melinda Poynter, of Glasgow; two God children, Paisley and Kensley Smith.

Funeral Services will be held at Winn Funeral Home at 2 PM on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 with burial to follow in the Cosby Cemetery. Visistation will be held from 4-8 PM on Monday, September 12, 2022 and from 8 AM until time of service on Tuesday.
