Orpha (Scottie) Scott

November 28, 1927 — June 18, 2011

Orpha (Scottie) Scott, 83, of Louisville passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 at St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital.

He was a Grayson County native, a retired forklift driver,

a WW II Marine Veteran and a Korean War Army Veteran where he received the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.

Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Pearl Scott; his wife, Mable Riordan Scott; 1 sister and 3 brothers & a step-son, Kenneth McCubbin , & His step-son-in law ,Billy Lile.

Survived by

Step-Daughter: Judy Lile, Louisville

Grandson: Dwayne Lile, Louisville

Several nieces and nephews

Visitation

Winn Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, June 26th, from 5 PM - 8 PM and after 8 AM Monday. All times are C.D.T.

Funeral Service

Winn Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, June 27, 2011 at 10 AM, with burial to follow at Annetta United Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery near Leitchfield, Ky.
