Opal Kathryne Scott

Opal Henderson Scott, age 92, of Hardyville, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.  She was a native of Metcalfe County, a homemaker and a longtime member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah Lee Henderson and Vera Jolly Henderson, husband, Leroy Scott, a son, Benny Scott, five sisters and one brother.

She is survived by three daughters, Ramona Gardner and husband, Gary, of Munfordville, Carol Ann Martin and husband, Billy Joe, Cave City, Tammy Ritchie and husband, Rick, of Bowling Green, daughter-in-law, Barbara Scott, Hardyville, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, one sister, Grace Scott and her husband, Lennis, Crail Hope, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Shady Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Atwell-Rock Cemetery.  Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. on Monday, and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday at Shady Grove Baptist Church until time of the service.  Arrangements are under the direction of Winn Funeral Home.
