Nathaniel Gene McCubbin

November 14, 1980 — January 18, 2022

Nathaniel Gene McCubbin, age 41, of Hart County, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 in Elizabethtown. He was a native of Hart County and a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. He loved watching ballgames and playing his X-Box. He loved his family and was a loving and outgoing person.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Gene McCubbin; his maternal grandparents, Betty Lou and George Sturgeon; his paternal grandparents, Orville and Dorothy McCubbin.

He is survived by his mother, Sheila McCubbin; two sisters, Gwenn Pedigo (Mike) and Jamie Hardesty (Jordan); one brother, Jeremy McCubbin; his nieces and nephews, Hannah Wright, Preston Pedigo, Alexis McCubbin, Gabriel Cash, Lily and Laney Hardesty; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 23, 2022 with burial to follow in the McCubbin Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022 and from 8 a.m. until time of service on Sunday.
