Nancy Josephine Scott

Josephine (Jo) McDaniel Scott age 82 of Horse Cave passed away 11:49 a.m. Monday, June 7, 2010 at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville.

She was born in Barren County, member of the Horse Cave Baptist Church, retired Support Service Aid for the Kentucky State Government, volunteer for the Literacy Program, participant with the Cave City Senior Citizens, loved traveling, avid Indiana basketball fan and Rook player, nature lover and loved cross stitching.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lucy Sabens McDaniel, husband, J.D. Scott and 3 brothers, David, Frank and W.J. McDaniel.

Survived by

4 children: Carolyn England of Louisville

Joey Scott of Cave City

Robin Hayes and husband Phillip of Louisville

Shannon Endres and husband Scott of Louisville

8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren

brother: Kenneth McDaniel of Glasgow

special friend: Janet Schneider of Horse Cave

several nieces and nephews.

Visitation

1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home.

Funeral Service

Public graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 11, 2010 at the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Under the direction of Winn Funeral Home.

i am deeply saddened about our loss!! Jo was & will still remain a great strength for those who knew and loved her. let's all celebrate this lovely lady and cherish our loving memories of her, that will keep her alive in our hearts and minds. GOD now has a truely devine child of his making that we should all pattern our selfs after!
