Mike Simpson

January 21, 1960 — November 11, 2014

Mike Simpson, age 54, of Horse Cave, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney, Ohio, as a result of a vehicle accident.

He was born in Danville, Illinois, on January 21, 1960.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran and formerly worked at R. R. Donnelley of Glasgow and for Dart Container of Horse Cave.  Mike loved motorcycles, NASCAR, fishing with Daddy and playing his guitar.  He was a lifetime member of V.F.W Post #5906 of Glasgow.

He was preceded in death by his father, Caly D. Simpson, in 2013.

Survivors included his wife, Marie Simpson, of Horse Cave, daughter, Jessica Mayville, and husband, Jeramiah, of Michigan, his mother, Antonia Simpson, two sisters, Diana Simpson, and Cindy Milby, all of Horse Cave, one brother, Robert Simpson and wife, Debbie, Michigan, nephew, Jon-Michael Milby, Horse Cave, one uncle and aunt, Kenny & Judy Simpson, Indiana, and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Cosby Cemetery, Hardyville, Kentucky.  Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 2-9 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. until service time on Sunday.
