Mike Lindsey

Mike Lindsey, age 63, of Cecilia, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015, near Elizabethtown.  He was a native of Hart County, owner/operator of Mike Lindsey HVAC at Cecilia, member of Plesant Valley Baptist Church at Uno, a U. S. Army Veteran, an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman, a graduate of the first graduating class of the consolidated Hart County High School in 1970, and a longtime softball player.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curt & Edna Whitlow Lindsey, a sister, Tillie Lindsey, a brother, Phillip Lindsey, and a half-brother, Dale Ward.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Rogers, of LaGrange, Kentucky, one son, Scott Lindsey, of Cecilia, Kentucky,  one grandson, Josiah Rogers, of LaGrange, Kentucky, two sisters, Janice Blankley and husband, Bob, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and Rita Bunnell and husband, Timmy, of Northtown, one brother, Jim Lindsey and wife, Janet, of  Elizabethtown, sister-in-law, Kaye Lindsey, Hardyville, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., CDT, on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Cosby Cemetery.  Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m, CDT, on Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until time of service on Thursday.
