Matthew McMahan

Matthew McMahan, age 37, of Hardyville, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2022 at his mothers home. He was a native of Hart County and a non-denominational christian. He loved his children, fiance, and family with all his heart. He loved his dogs, Smokey and Duke. He loved being outdoors and getting his hands dirty. He was passionate about knife making.

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray McMahan; his paternal grandmother, Ruth McMahan; his maternal grandparents, Orville and Dorothy McCubbin; special uncle's, Bobby McCubbin and Henry McMahan Jr.; sister-in-law, Tammy Fancher; his niece, Tabitha Fancher; his dog, Blue.

He is survived by his fiance, Amanda Shoffner; his children, Raiden Catch McMahan and Cadence Skyy McMahan; his mother, Patsy McMahan; his brothers, Roy Fancher and Daniel McMahan; his grandad, Henry McMahan Sr.; special brothers, Chris Mansfield and Justin Strout; several friends that were as close as brothers.

Matthews wishes were cremation. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Winn Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service on Friday.
