Kathleen Branstetter Jeffries, age 96, of the Three Springs Community, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Diversicare of Glasgow, formerly Barren County Healthcare. She was a native of Hart County, owner & operator of Jeffries Cafe in Three Springs, retired from Mallorys in Glasgow and a life-long member of Three Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry B. & Mary Ida England Branstetter, husband, Homer Gordon Jeffries, three brothers, Earl Branstetter, Virgle "Ham" Branstetter, & Linard J. Branstetter.
She is survived by three children, Rebecca Joyce Loyall and husband, Randall, of Elizabethtown, Ralph Keith Jeffries and wife, Diana, of Canmer & Vickie Faye Spradlin and husband, William Michael "Jolly", of Horse Cave, six grandchildren, Keith Todd Jeffries and wife, Denise, of Canmer, Rhonda Jo Loyall Fulkerson and husband, Marty, of Elizabethtown, Timothy Lynn Jeffries & wife, Leslie, of Canmer, William Jeffrey Loyall and wife, Amy, of Munfordville, Gretchen Michelle Spradlin of Horse Cave, Troy Russell Jeffries & wife, Tammy, of Horse Cave, eight great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren, two step great-great granchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Cosby Cemetery. Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of service on Saturday.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to the Three Springs Baptist Church or Gideons International.
