Mary Jo Edwards

Mary Jo Forrest Edwards age 79 of Horse Cave, Ky passed away Saturday November 21, 2015 at the Caverna Memorial Hospital E.R. She was born in Bearwallow, Kentucky on January 20, 1936 to the union of her loving parents John Forrest and Nettie Doty Forrest. She grew up in the Oakridge Baptist Church in Barren County . She was preceded in death by her parents, John Forrest and Nettie Doty Forrest, brothers, Ollie Forrest and Carl Forrest, her sisters, Mattie White, Catherine Bell, Minnie Twyman and Hallie C. Duff. She was united in matrimony to the late John Thomas (Buggs) Edwards.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Margaret Edwards and Terri Dawson and her husband Vandre all of Lexington. Four grandchildren, Jonathan Edwards, Jordan Dawson, Spencer Dawson and Vaneica Dawson, one great-grandson Qynlynn Canada. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends Ms. Tottie Rice and Ms. Mattie Auston, Norma Jean Green , niece and daughter will cherish her memory as well.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday November 28, 2015 in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Little Blue Springs Baptist Church Cemetery near Uno.
