Margie Mae Bryant Priddy

December 9, 1943 — May 12, 2021

Margie Mae Bryant Priddy, age 77, of Upton, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at her home after an extended illness. She was a native of Monroe, Kentucky. Margie was a homemaker, wife, mother, and caretaker of her son, Timmy. Timmy was the main focus of her life during and after she could no longer take care of him. She loved him so much. Margie was such a kind and wonderful woman. She and her late sister, Mae Belle Priddy were so close and had a very special relationship. Willie cared for Margie 24 hours a day for many years at their home to keep her out of the nursing home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill Bryant and Lovie Turner; her grandmother, (who raised her), Maggie Turner; two sisters, Mae Belle Priddy and Wanda Clymer; a niece, Mitzi Logsdon; a nephew, Rickey Logsdon; many aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her son, Timmy Ward of Nancy, Kentucky; her husband, Willie Priddy of Upton; two brothers, Shirley Bryant of Bowling Green and William Bale of Cave City; a sister, Bessie Fulks of Louisiana; a niece, Donna Faye Logsdon; a nephew, Erik Priddy; many great-nieces and cousins.

A graveside service will be held for family and friends at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2021 at the Whickerville Cemetery in Hardyville with burial to follow.
