Mable M. Collins

Mable M. Collins, 90, of Horse Cave, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Hart County Health Care Center.

She was a native of Allen County, a life long resident of Hart County, the oldest member of Cave Spring Baptist Church, a homemaker, an avid NASCAR fan and loved being with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Martin and Lassie Connor Martin; her husband, Gordon B. Collins in 1980; a son, Mike Collins in 1986; a sister, Juanita Bishop in 2008 and a brother, J.V. Martin in 2010.

Survived by

Daughter: Barbara Collins Jeter, Horse Cave

Sons: Donnie Collins and wife, Carol, Horse Cave

Dennis Collins and wife, Sharon, Oakland, Ky.

13 Grandchildren

18 Great-Grandchildren

1 Great-Great-Grandchild

Brother: Pepper Martin and wife, Louise, Munfordville

Sisters: Elizabeth Wilson, Horse Cave

Josephine Edwards, Horse Cave

Lucille Carver, Jeffersonville, In.

Several nieces, nephews and a host of friends

Donnie, I got the news from Ray Green that your Mom had passed away. Sorry to hear that. I have many fond memories of her, your Dad and Grandparents and especially going to Cave Springs Church with the whole family sticks in my mind. That was a lot of years ago. Please tell Dennis and the rest of your family I send my condolences.
