Lucille Cook Veluzat age 96, life long resident of Cave City, passed away 6:40 a.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at N.H.C. Healthcare in Glasgow.

She was born in Monroe County, homemaker, member of the Cave City Christian Church and Order Of The Eastern Star, Caverna Chapter 252.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilman Goldman Cook and Bernice Serena Goodall Cook, husband Russell Veluzat, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

Survived by

2 sons: James G. Veluzat and wife Belinda of Munfordville

Phillip L. Veluzat and wife Mary Jo of Cave City

2 granddaughters: Chenoa Veluzat of Bardstown

Shanna Letner and husband Mark of Bardstown

4 grandsons: Norman (Rusty) Veluzat and wife Amanda of Cave City

Jose Gonzales and wife Regan of Munfordville

Joe Haynes of Mt. Olivet, Ky.

Jay Haynes of Mt. Olivet, Ky.

11 great-grandchildren

several nieces and nephews

Visitation

Visitation 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral Service

Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2010 in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
