Lois Virginia Edwards

Lois Virgina Edwards, 83 of Three Springs passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021 at her home. She was a native of Metcalfe County and a member of Big Meadow Church. She was a homemaker and was an avid reader, she enjoyed raising baby chicks and her dog, Bailey.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Flora Neal; one daughter, Sharon Poynter; two son-in-laws, Timmy Lile and Lanny Poynter; several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her two children, Gail Lile of Legrande and Bryan Edwards of Three Springs; three grandchildren, Heather Lile of Legrande, Logan Lile of Bowling Green and Amanda White (Rick) of Glasgow; one great-grandson, Seth Hatcher (Alisha) of Cave City; two great-great-grandchildren, Skyler and Hunter Hatcher; one brother, Hershel Pierce of Louisville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, 2021 in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Big Meadow Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Winn Funeral Home and again on Sunday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
