Lillie Katherine Hogan age 80 of the Legrande community passed away at 10:22 a.m. Thursday October 6, 2011 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.
She was a Barren County native and worked as a Lab Technican for many years for Dr. Howard Fisher. She was the former owner of Legrande Market, a former manager of the Budget Host Inn and in her later years (Ms Katherine) was a teachers aide at both Legrande and Caverna Elementary Schools, She was a Kentucky Colonel, and active in the Republican Party, and a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church at Uno.She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Paul Owens & Lillie Lucille Martin Owens,Her husband, Homer Hogan and by a sister, Jeanette Smith.

She is survived by a son, Jerry Hogan & his wife Edna of Danville,Ky. a daughter, Becky Whitlow & her husband Mike of Glasgow. Four Grandchildren, Patrick Cook & his wife Crissy of Glasgow, Katina Leber & her husband Jeremy of Nicholasville, Kristy Logsdon & her husband Daniel of Pensacola FL., & Heather Williamson & her husband Joey of Munfordville. Nine Great-Grandchildren & One Great-Great Grandchild. Three Sisters, Four Brothers, and Several Nieces, Nephews & Step-Brothers and Step-Sisters.
Visitation
Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 6 until 9 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. until funeral time on Saturday.
Funeral Service
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday October 8, 2011 in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
