L. Wayne "Dog" Peacock

October 19, 1934 — May 15, 2017

L. Wayne “Dog” Peacock, 82 of Horse Cave, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at his residence. He was native of Miami Florida. A member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Toccoa, Ga.  He and his wife moved to Horse Cave one year ago. He was a retired electrical engineer and a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was a graduate of Georgia Tech and He was C.E.O., President, and Chairman of the Board for Hybrid Systems. "Dog" will forever be remembered and honored for his commitment and contributions to the Georgia Mountain Shooting Association in Eastanollee, GA.

He is preceded in death by his parents, A.V. Peacock, J.R. and Florence Snyder Peacock.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Mouser of Horse Cave; one son, Matt Moulton and his wife, Laura of Commerce, GA; one grandson, Camden Moulton; One brother, Roy Peacock of Key Largo, FL; one sister, Marilyn Brown of Kennesaw, GA; his chosen daughter, Eva Cox of Bonneville, KY; a brother and sister-in-law Jeff and Susan Mouser of Munfordville, KY; one niece Chelsea Mouser Walters and nephew Jeremy Mouser of Munfordville, KY; one nephew, Brett Mouser and his wife Patricia of Munfordville, KY; a great nephew, Harrison Mouser and great niece, Bella Mouser; a special friend, Paul Russell of Munfordville, KY; and his fur babies, Buster and Thelma.

A private graveside service is being held at a later date with full military honors performed by the D.A.V. chapter #20 of Glasgow, KY.
