Kermit Willian age 87 ,of Munfordville, passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, Ky.
Mr. Willian was a native of Hart County and a lifelong farmer. He also was a member, deacon and former song leader of Boiling Springs Baptist Church , a thirthy-one year member of the Gideons International and a U.S. Army veteran of W.W.II. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his church family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Duncan Willian and Mary Goodman Willian, and a grandson, Alan Miller.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Laverne Rock Willian of Munfordville
1 daughter, Karen Miller and husband Bob of Parrottsville, Tn.
3 sons, Rodney Willian of Munfordville, Tim Willian and wife Lisa of Munfordville and Todd Willian and wife Allison of Franklin, Ky.
3 grandchildren, Laura Ong and husband Han, Michael Willian and wife Lauren and Andrew Willian and wife Samantha
3 great-grandsons, Noah, Moses and Joseph Ong
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Gideons International.
Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Boiling Springs Baptist Church outside of Munfordville with burial in the Goodman Family Cemetery, under the direction of Winn Funeral Home.
Visitation 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home and after 12:00 noon Sunday at Boiling Springs Baptist Church. NO visitiation at the funeral home Sunday.
