Katherine Short

July 4, 1922 — February 22, 2015

Katherine Short, age 92, of Horse Cave, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015, at Diversacare of Glasgow.  She was a native of Cave City, Kentucky, and a homemaker, a longtime member of the Horse Cave Church of Christ and had worked for several years at Stevenson's 5 & 10.  She was an avid quilter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Morris Isenberg and Cora Ethel Garrison Isenberg, her husband, Boyd Short, seven sisters, four brothers and several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by three daughters, Margaret Short, Elizabethtown, Becky London and husband, William, of Center, and Teresa Hapney and husband, Gary, of Glasgow, six grandchildren, Heather Dennis, Richie, Johnny & Andy London, Jason & Kristina Hapney, six great-grandchildren, Brandon Dennis, Travis, Branson & Addie, Tyler & Kassady London, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Shady Grove Church of Christ Cemetery.  Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday and 9 a.m. to time of service on Wednesday.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to Potter's Childrens Home.
