June Gravens Howell

June Gravens Howell age 67 of LeGrande passed away Thursday May 9, 2013 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. surrounded by many loved ones. June was born in the Sulphur Well area of Metcalfe County on June 20, 1945.June devoted herself to others as a loving wife, mother,grandmother and was a loving child care provider. She was of the Methodist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents. Kenneth and Ruth Dale Gravens , an infant sister and brother & a much loved nephew.

June is survived by her husband of 47 years Sterling (Bully)Howell of LeGrande, her daughter Susan Forbes & her husband Dean of LeGrande, her son, Nathan Howell & his wife Michelle of Bowling Green, Five grandchildren,McKenzie Forbes and Carter, Elizabeth, Lilah and Adaline Howell. Three sisters, Sandy Caffee, Reba Norman and Nancy Gravens all of Metcalfe County, she is also survived by her aunts, uncles, neices & nephews.

Visitation

Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 2 until 8 p.m. Saturday and from 1 until 2:30 p.m.on Sunday.

Funeral Service

Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday May 12, 2013 at Cosby Cemetery under direction of Winn Funeral Home Horse Cave with burial to follow.
