Juanita Garrett Waters age 79 of Horse Cave passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Hart County Health Care in Horse Cave.
She was born in Burkesville, Kentucky, member of Cedar Cliff Baptist Church where she served as sunday school teacher and secretary/treasurer. She also was past president of the Hart County Homemakers, worked at Caverna Memorial Hospital as a unit ward clerk for many years and former co-owner of the Horse Cave Gulf Station.
Mrs. Waters was preceded in death by her parents, William Garrett and Bertha Branham Garrett, her husband, Porter Waters, Jr. and four brothers.

son: Ricky Waters and wife Becky of Horse Cave
daughter: Vicki Nichols and husband Eddie of Munfordville
5 grandchildren: Joey Jolly, Chad Jolly and wife Julie, Crystal Brooke Waters, Michael Nichols and Michelle Nichols.
step-grandson: Brian Melloan and wife Becca
3 great-grandchildren: Hannah Jolly, Olivia Jolly and Porter Jolly.
step-great-grandson: Garrett Melloan
several nieces and nephews.
Visitation
Visitation 11:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 9:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral Service
Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013 in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
