J.R. Rock

J.R. Rock, 57 of Hardyville, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. He was a native of Green County, he loved hunting, farming, and tractor pulls.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carrol Rock and Barbara Fancher Rock; one sister, Malindy Rock Wilson; one brother-in-law, Timmy Glass.

He is survived by his life partner of 39 years, Linda Shaw; two children, Heather Ash (Daniel) and C.J. Rock (Kelcie); one grandson, Aiden Rock; one sister, Melondie Glass; a lifelong friend, Eric Ash; and his faithful companion, Killer.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Whickerville Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Whickerville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 - 8p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Winn Funeral Home and after 9a.m. Saturday, until service time at Whickerville Baptist Church.
