Joyce Humphrey, 73, of Center, Ky., passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Metcalfe Healthcare in Edmonton.
She was a Metcalfe County native, attended Allens Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, painting and being out in her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Humphrey, earlier this year; her parents, Chester and Pauline Mills; one sister, Wilma Thompson; three brothers, Billy Joe, J.B. and Howard Mills.
Survivors include, one son, Bryan Humphrey and wife, Peggy, of Summer Shade; two step-grandsons, Josh Shaw, (Tiffany), and Shawn Shaw, (Cassandra); one step-great-grandson, Waylon Shaw; one sister, Margie Pruitt, of Glasgow; one brother, Byron Mills, (Doris), of Glasgow; one sister-in-law, Ozella Mills, of Hiseville; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at 2 PM, in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Hiseville Cemetery.
Visitation at Winn Funeral Home will be on Monday, April 10, 2017, from 4-8 PM, and Tuesday, from 9 AM until service time.
