Joseph L. Turner

Joseph L. Turner, 95, of Horse Cave passed away at 7:45 PM, March 9, 2012 at the Hart County Health Care Center.

He was born in Barren County, a member of the Bearwallow Church of Christ, a retired farmer, a longtime tobacco warehouse manager and a Kentucky Colonel.

Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Tom Turner and Flo Brown Turner; his step-mother, Clara Turner; his daughter, Peggy Turner Payton and a grandchild, Jonathon Alfred Payton.

Survived by

His Wife of 75 years: Maxine Bunnell Turner, Horse Cave

Grandson: Joseph David Payton, Horse Cave

Granddaughter: Carol Medley and husband, Mike, Summer Shade

4-Great-Grandchildren: Gage Wilson, Kamn Robertson, Xander Robertson and Sydne Medley

Brother: R. T. Turner and wife, Bonnie, Horse Cave

Winn Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, 2PM - 8PM and after 9AM until service time on Monday.

Funeral Service

Winn Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, March 12, 2012 at 1 PM with burial at the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
