Joe E. Lindsey

Joe E. Lindsey age 55 of Horse Cave passed away at 9:36 p.m. Tuesday December 14, 2010 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

He was a Hart County native, a retired contractor , carpenter & a retired employee of Dart Container Corporation. He was a former member of the Caverna Band Pit Crew, and a former volunteer coach for all the Caverna Youth Leagues Sports and a former assistant Scout Leader for Troop 111. He was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church at Uno.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Emmett C. Lindsey and by a Half-Sister, Gladys Jaggers.

His Loving wife, Sandra Wallace Lindsey of Horse Cave

2 Sons: J.C. Lindsey & fiance Chelsea of Munfordville

Casey Lindsey & fiance Savannah of Horse Cave

1 Grandson, Dawson Lindsey

1 Grandaughter, Jaylen Lindsey

His Mother, Mae Merideth Lindsey of Horse Cave

Visitation

Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 2 until 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday until funeral time.

Funeral Service

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday December 17, 2010 in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.

I was saddened in my heart to hear about the passing of Joe. I am praying for God to wrap you and the family in his loving arms. I can only speak a few words of comfort but: God gives the comfort. Please hold to those precious memories and share them often with each other and friends. Remember Love is never forgotten, God is Love and he allows us to share Love with each other. Sorry I didn't make it to
the funeral. I will continue to keep you all in my prayers.

Mae, I am so sorry to hear about Joe - my deepest sympathy. I will remember him most for his sense of humor, he was always good for a laugh. I know God will go with you through this time of sorrow.
