Joan Smith

Joan Smith, age 79, of Hardyville, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019, at The Medical Center at Caverna.  She was a native of Hart County and a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Mildred Emberton, and two sisters, Johnalene Lancaster and Donagene Gray.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Billy Smith; two children, Timmy Smith (Peggy) and Steve Smith (Gracie); four grandchildren, Megan Faulkner, Christy Tice, Chasity Bagbee, Joey Smith and ten great-grandchildren.

The family chose direct cremation. Arrangements are under the direction of Winn Funeral Home.
