Jackie Buckingham
Jackie Buckingham, age 70, of Horse Cave, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the Medical Center at Caverna. He was a native of Hart County, a member at Caveland Baptist Church and loved to fly. He was a licensed pilot and that was his passion. He worked as the facility manager at Dart Container for 30 years, a veteran of the Vietnam War and a Kentucky Colonel.
He is preceded in death by his parents, A.L. Buckingham and Carrie Savannah Buckingham; one brother, Leroy Buckingham.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Buckingham; four daughters, Michele Buckingham Smith, Rebecca Lynne Renick, Lori Thompson and Kimberly Jones (Jason); one son, De’Lynn Buckingham (Sheila); 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one sister, Aldene Heath; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2020 in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2- 8 p.m. Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Winn Funeral Home and again on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
