Inez Banks Morrison

Inez Banks Morrison, age 85 of Hiseville passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at Nortons Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville. She was a native of eastern Kentucky, Letcher and Floyd county, a daughter of the American Revolution and a Kentucky Colonel. She worked for years as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Caverna Memorial Hospital. She was a devoted wife, mother, caregiver and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Harrison Banks and Virgie Banks Johnson; her husband, Wesley Hartford Morrison; one sister, Doris Banks Everidge; one brother, Ted “Theodore” Banks.

She is survived by, Bobby Bruce Dale; Billy Ray Banks (Judy); David Wesley "Johnny" Morrison (Gayle) ; Deborah Groves (Mike); a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; dearest cousins, Gloria Jean "Bibby" Jones and Alma June "Bobby" Eaton ; long life friends, Betty Logsdon, Vickie Atwell, Kitty Richie and Jean Nunn.

Services will be private and under the direction of Winn Funeral Home in Horse Cave, KY.
