Herbert Lee England

Herbert Lee England age 93 of Hardyville passed away Thursday February 21, 2013 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.

He was a native of Hart County, a retired farmer and former owner-operator of H.L. England Trucking Company, a member of Park Methodist Church and a longtime Trustee of Cosby Cemetery. He enjoyed people and life in general. He was preceded in death by his parents, Venus J. (Jake) England and Mattie Branstetter England, his wife, Dorothy Hamilton England in 2011 and by two brothers, Carlos J. England and Henry Buford England.

Survived by

He is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Meadows and her husband Paul of Glasgow and Sandra Gentry and her husband Kenneth of Hardyville. One Granddaughter, Cindy Meadows of Hardyville, Three Grandsons, Mark Gentry & his wife Margie of Hardyville, Jeffery Scott Meadows & his wife Michelle of Glasgow & Michael Gentry & his wife Marsha of Cave City. Five Great-Grandchildren and Two Great-Great Grandchildren.Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Visitation

Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. until funeral time on Monday.

Funeral Service

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday February 25, 2013 in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Cosby Cemetery.
