Gertrude "Gertie" Goldsmith

February 2, 1923 — February 14, 2014

Mrs. Gertrude "Gertie" Goldsmith age 91 of Canmer, Ky passed away Friday February 14, 2014 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow, She was a native of Hart County, a homemaker and a lifelong member of the Lonoke Baptist Church, In later years she attended the Church in Canmer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Goldsmith, her parents, Richard Wright and Mary Hawks Wright, two sons, Bud and Lou Goldsmith and a daughter, Pearlie Goldsmith Glass.

She is survived by her daughter, Nellie Sexton and her husband Dennis of Canmer, her grandchildren, Larry Glass, Jonathan Goldsmith, Melissa Harkness, Tom Goldsmith, Robert Sexton, Jessica Forbis, Christopher Sexton and Richard Sexton. 10 great-grandchildren and her two daughters-in-law, Patricia Pruitt Goldsmith of Horse Cave and Cathy Goldsmith of Munfordville,  her son-in-law, Junior Glass of Munfordville, She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday February 17, 2014 in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pearl Webb Cemetery at Canmer.

Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 4 until 8 p.m. on Sunday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time on Monday.
