George Myers Harlow

George Myers Harlow, 80, of Center, Ky., passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 at his home.

He was a Metcalfe County native, farmer, a U.S. Army veteran, a founding member of the North Metcalfe Fire Department and a member of Allens Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John C. and Ruby Marie Myers Harlow; a brother, Phil Harlow and a sister, Jean Tucker.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Donna Jean Harlow, of Center; his daughter, Teresa Ayers and husband, David, of Jackson, Ms; two grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Ayers and John David Ayers; two sisters, Roberta Lane and husband, Robert, of Horse Cave and Dottie Wilshire and husband, Buddy, of Cave City; a brother, Stan Harlow and wife, Patricia, of Glasgow; a sister-in-law, Janie Harlow, of Center and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home, Monday, April 28, 2014, at 1 PM with burial to follow in Center Cemetery with full military honors performed by the DAV Chapter # 20 of Glasgow.

Visitation at Winn Funeral Home will be on Sunday, April 27 from 2:30 - 8:00 PM and after 9:00 AM Monday until service time.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to Allens Grove Baptist Church.
