Gary Lee Thompson

Gary Lee Thompson, age 57, of Cave City, passed away at 3:25 p.m. Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the Caverna Memorial Hospital E.R. He was born in Monroe County, Kentucky and a farmer. He was a loving father and grandfather and loved to fish and hunt. He was preceded in death by his father, Odell Howard Thompson and by two brothers, David and Jake Thompson.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Thompson, of Horse Cave, 3 sons, Daniel Thompson and Kevin Thompson both of Cave City & Ted Thompson of Pleasureville, Ky.; 2 daughters, Amanda Thompson of Horse Cave & Tracy Thompson of Campbellsville. His mother, Mae Stewart Thompson, of Smiths Grove. 20 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren. 2 brothers, Ricky Thompson of Bowling Green & Howard Thompson of Smiths Grove, 4 sisters, Sue Keen & Diane Cox both of Bowling Green, Audrey Thompson, of Smiths Grove & Joyce Gupton of Cottonwood,TN , also several nieces and nephews.

Visitation

Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. until funeral time on Monday.

Funeral Service

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2012 in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Harper Cemetery.
